Insurance and Payment Options
Insurance Status
I am currently a private-pay provider and do not directly accept insurance. However, I understand that therapy is a significant financial investment, and I want to make it as accessible as possible.
Payment Methods
I accept cash, personal checks, credit cards, Health Savings Account (HSA) cards, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. Payment is due at the time of service.
Financial Assistance
If cost is a barrier to receiving the help you need, please discuss this with me during your consultation. I may be able to offer limited sliding scale options based on genuine financial need. You may also be able to access a reduced-fee rate through Open Path; I can provide more information and a link to apply.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You Have The Right
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency services, including medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Get an Estimate
Request a written Good Faith Estimate from your health care provider at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask any provider for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling.
You Can Dispute
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Save a Copy
Save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
